I'm a guitarist, composer, and educator of 20 years, from a family of music educators, and I’d love to work with you to make your musical dreams come true! I'm a gigging musician in multiple Bay Area bands, one of them called Gumby's Junk, and a successful solo guitar project.
Lessons offered from my studio space in West Oakland or over Zoom. $50 per half hour, $70 per 45-min, or $85 per an hour.
My background in music includes:
• A music degree in Classical Guitar Performance under the instruction of Grammy award winning guitarist William Coulter
• Studies with world acclaimed guitarist Miroslav Tadic as part of the CalArts’ Performer-Composer MFA program
• Playing with Yale School of Music guitar professor Ben Verdery on his multi-genre guitar ensemble
• Participation in the Mendocino Guitar Workshop with guitarists Andrew York and Alex DeGrassi
• Being a featured performer for She Shreds Media
• Experience playing hundreds of shows in the Bay Area and touring around the country
• Navigating many genres & styles within guitar: punk, rock, noise, classical, experimental, folk, pop, jazz, metal
