I am a Reading Specialist with a desire to assist your child in becoming not only a successful reader but improving their writing, spelling and overall confidence. I have worked as a credentialed special education teacher and as an educational therapist at an excellent learning center in La Jolla, CA with 20+ years experience. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham, Linda MoodBell and Wilson Reading Academy reading programs. I know that building successful teacher/student relationships and making learning enjoyable are key for ongoing success. I do my best to incorporate both of these in my lessons.
