About me:
- Carl C.
- 20+ year veteran who's worked in Computer Animated Film, Video Games, and even a Linux distribution doing Python development, DevOps, Automation, and Developer Tooling.
- Education: Masters of Science in Computer Engineering, B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Tech: Python, Databases (redis, sql, and all that jazz), Git, Perforce, JIRA, CI/CD, Distributed Systems. I've also worked a fair bit building automation for Unreal Engine games. I specialize in custom automation systems in cloud/farm environments and tooling that enable development teams (30-400 people) to work efficiently, particularly for developers in the fields of computer graphics and video games. Linux, Mac, Windows are all fine with me, I can code on any system you got.

- Beginners through more experienced technies welcome
- We can include computer science concepts like algorithms, integration with third party tech, and more - its really about what your goals are and we'll create a custom learning plan just for you.
Location -- Tutoring can be done over zoom or I run a small business with a study area in Berkeley's Gilman District and you come to me.
Supplies:
- Have your own computer and that computer is in good working order. Operating system does not matter.
- For sessions over zoom you need to have a working webcam and good internet connection
- All the software we would use is free
Other stuff:
- $100/hr
- Cash, Venmo, and Credit Cards accepted
- Sessions are by appointment only.
- You need to show up for each session. Cancellations for anything other than sickness & emergencies will end our tutoring relationship (don't got time for that).
- We can meet once for free before we start tutoring to discuss your goals and see if we're a good fit.
