In about 18 weeks you can learn everything you need to know to start becoming a great soloist. And you won't have to deal with reading music!
Although I'm in favor of everyone learning to read music eventually, the fact is that the music staff actually gets in the way of you understanding how music works.
If you're jamming and creating your own music you need to understand extremely thoroughly how chords and scales work together, and how Blues Music works with the older "classical" system. Which is complicated. Reading dots on the music staff obviously doesn't help with that (otherwise you wouldn't be reading this) and most theory books are badly explained, boring, and irrelevant, plus they rely on your ability to read music to understand them.
This training is essential if you are considering any kind of Jamming and improvising,
arranging and recording, song writing, or just having fun on your instrument.
I like to teach in a clear, precise, very practical way, and to simplify things as much as possible. But I hate over-simplification and I won't do that. You will get the crystal-clear, accurate and unapologetic truth about music theory from a very advanced perspective.
Everyone learns differently, and since these are complex ideas, I like to use a fun and irreverent approach, with lots of diagrams. Once you've got some basics, you can practice jamming on any material you want to try out, so you can start to figure out your own style.
If you are a songwriter or composer you can expand your musical vocabulary and avoid predictable changes. You will be able to analyze scores, design solos, and create harmonies and arrangements.
So forget about those tedious books and half baked, inaccurate websites and internet videos. You're going to have to understand Music Theory one way or another! Why not get it over with so you can start enjoying yourself? You can do that with me in a few easy and fun lessons.
So call me, Richard, at the number above, right now, bring along your favorite songs or pieces and we can start today...
