We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Front Desk Specialist to join our immigration law firm in the heart of Berkeley. This is a highly client-facing role where your attitude and presence matter just as much as your skills.
You will be one of the first people clients interact with, and over time, many clients will come to know you personally. A warm greeting, eye contact, and a genuine willingness to help are essential to this role. We believe that great client service starts with being approachable, attentive, and human.
Our office is collaborative and supportive, and you will receive guidance from multiple team members. You will have your own personalized workstation and play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet every client warmly, with eye contact and a welcoming presence
Answer phones and communicate with clients in Spanish and English
Call clients regarding appointments, updates, and follow-ups
Assemble and organize case files
Make photocopies and prepare documents
Distribute documents to clients
Update and maintain accurate information in our systems
Take client payments and provide receipts
Support attorneys and staff with administrative needs
Help with any additional front desk or office tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
Genuinely friendly, approachable, and professional
Strong attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly and stay organized
Comfortable taking direction from multiple team members
Reliable and consistent
We prioritize attitude over experience. The most important quality for this role is being genuinely friendly with clients, followed closely by being detail-oriented. We can train the rest.
Compensation & Benefits:
$23–$26 per hour, depending on experience
