We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance/Shop Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness, order, and functionality of our shop and warehouse. This role is hands-on and essential to keeping the facility safe, organized, and operating smoothly. Ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in upkeep, and wants to contribute to an efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• General shop and warehouse cleaning (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, dust removal, etc.)
• Organizing work areas, storage shelves, and material inventory
• Basic maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment
• Inspecting equipment for safety, cleanliness, and functionality
• Light building maintenance tasks (minor repairs, tightening hardware, changing bulbs, etc.)
• Maintaining bathroom and break area cleanliness and restocking supplies
• Assisting with shop projects, material handling, and setup needs
• Supporting day-to-day facility operations as directed by supervisors
Qualifications
• Previous experience in custodial, warehouse, construction, or shop environment is important
• Familiarity with tools and equipment, or willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and follow safety procedures
• Physically able to lift materials, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform labor tasks
Schedule
Part-time – 20 hours per week
