looking for someone who wants to learn the low voltage wiring trade from one of the best.
Our lead wiring technician has over 45 years of experience installing structured cabling, network wiring, security systems, and commercial low voltage infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to work side by side with someone who has spent an entire career mastering the trade before he eventually retires.
This is a paid apprenticeship style position. No professional low voltage experience is required, but you should be mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and enjoy working with your hands.
Pay
* $35/hour during training
* Consistent project work
* Opportunity to eventually run jobs independently at a higher pay rate once you’ve proven yourself
What You’ll Learn
* Pulling and routing network cable
* Drilling and fishing walls
* Cable management and dressing
* RJ45 terminations
* Patch panels and network racks
* Reading job layouts
* Professional installation techniques
* How to work efficiently while protecting finished homes and offices
You’ll spend your first several jobs working directly alongside our senior technician, learning both the technical skills and the countless tricks that only decades of experience can teach. As your confidence grows, you’ll begin performing more of the work yourself while being coached along the way.
