We are seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter for a commercial TI project focused on cabinet building and installation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented carpenter with strong experience in putting together and installing pre-fabricated cabinets, reading plans, and delivering high-end finish work.
The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and maintains a clean and professional jobsite.
Key Responsibilities
-Assemble and install cabinets, lockers, bathroom vanities, built-ins, etc
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layouts
-Measure and mark installation areas to ensure precise fit and alignment
-Install cabinets level, plumb, and square
-Scribe, shim, and trim cabinets for a clean finished appearance
-Install crown molding, toe kicks, fillers, panels, hardware, and other finish components
-Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
-Protect finished materials and maintain quality standards throughout installation
-Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades as needed
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements
-3+ years of finish carpentry experience with cabinet assembly and installation
-Strong knowledge of cabinet layouts, installation techniques, and finish carpentry methods
-Ability to read construction drawings and cabinet shop plans
-Experience with residential, custom home, multifamily, or commercial cabinetry
-Skilled with common carpentry tools including saws, drills, levels, lasers, nail guns, and hand tools
-Ability to lift and move cabinets/materials safely
-Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with commercial finish carpentry
-Familiarity with pre-fab cabinetry
-Experience installing trim, base, and other finish details
