Join us in one of the most beautiful parts of Hawaii this summer.
I'm a single parent homeschooling three pre-teens, and living more communally than most. For the last decade, we've hosted 3-5 guests at a time from around the world (Cuba, Congo, Canada...). To make meaningful connections, guests generally stay for 2-6 months and often return for repeat visits.
This summer and fall, we are building out the land, constructing two tiny homes, completing a foundation project, and maintaining several permaculture initiatives.
If you’d like to learn and collaborate with us, we’ll feed and house you as our guest while you're here.
We generally spend our mornings collaborating, and leave from mid-afternoon open for surfing, swimming, reflection, and enjoying the island.
If you are interested in spending time and co-creating with us, please reply with a resume or bio and as much information about yourself as you'd like to share.
We’re interested in your past experiences, future aspirations, and what unique skills and perspectives you can bring to our family and projects.
Tell us also about your ideal timing and length of stay.
Decades ago, we learned from the excellent folks at The Shelter Institute (https://www.shelterinstitute.com), whose motto, "Think. Build. Live." continues to resonate with us. For the willing, we're happy to pass on what knowledge and inspiration we can.
