Hi,
I am trying to find someone who lives around Berkeley and would be willing to help me out by running a little errand at a public library and earning some quick money.
What happened is that I found two old books which are of immense significance to my studies at the Graduate Theological Union Library located on 2400 Ridge Road in Berkeley, but I cannot go there and get them since I am not from that region. However, what makes things easier for you is that both books have been printed before the 1950s and 60s and belong to the public domain so there are no issues related to copyrights.
Since this is an open library, you'll be able to go in, pick up both books, scan them in their entirety (all the pages), one by one – your phone's camera will work just great for that. Then, you'll have to review the files you've gotten from the library to ensure that no pages are missing, and finally email them all to me.
The two books are:
- "Modern Science and the Yoga of the Future" by Garabed Paelian (1957);
- "The Cosmic Dynamic" by Frances Paelian (1962).
My offer includes $100 in exchange for these two scanned books - it will be sent as soon as I get the files. This shouldn't take you more than 1-2 hours of your time, and it will require no additional skills from you, just some patience while scanning the books. If you are interested, please respond with your location and your plan to scan the books - also, don't hesitate to ask anything about my offer.
