I am hiring a couple of grill and yard equipment assemblers for our hardware stores.
I am looking for part time or full time men and women who enjoy building things.
No experience required.
The average assembler will make $12-$17 per hour on piecework, we get paid for each item we assemble. The fastest 10% of our assemblers make $25-$30/hr.
We will provide you with paid on the job training for the first 40 hours.
We work at each store about once a week. Assemblers generally work at any of the 7-10 closest store locations from their homes.
It usually takes about 6-10 hours to assemble everything that is needed for a store's weekly assembly appointment.
We assemble all of their grills, wheelbarrows, patio furniture, tool boxes, carts, etc. Anything that comes in a box and requires assembly we assemble for them.
All assembly takes place inside the stores. We do not deliver and assemble.
The hours are generally 7AM-3PM weekdays, but you may work any days/hours you wish.
We are looking for a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week but you can work as much as you want. Some assemblers work 60 hours per week.
We do not usually offer weekend only positions, but weekend work is sometimes available.
We also can sometimes make 3rd shift (overnights) work in some cases if you wish but only after training. You will need to train during the day while my trainers are working.
Requirements and details:
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Must own a cordless impact driver (or cordless drill if impact is unavailable--impact driver is quicker tool for piecework and preferred) and basic tools.
Must have access to reliable transportation.
Pay is based on piecework after paid on the job training.
This is a 1099 position. W2 position may be available upon request.
Payday is every 2 weeks via direct deposit, pay card or mailed check.
We are paid by the piece so the more we assemble the more we earn per day.
This is a seasonal position but sometimes year round work is available.
