Minimum Requirements (Strictly Enforced)
• 30+ years of hands-on general construction experience in California
• Native English speaker (verbal and written communication is critical)
• Strong expertise in:
• Job cost estimation & bidding
• Preparing and submitting competitive bids
• Standing by for city and county inspections
• Communicating directly with inspectors, clients, and subcontractors
• Deep knowledge of California Uniform Building Code (CBC)
• Must be familiar with Bay Area jurisdictions (SF, Oakland, San Jose, Berkeley, Alameda County, Contra Costa, etc.)
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Clear, confident, and detail-oriented
• Active CSLB License required:
• B (General Building) or A (General Engineering), OR
• Qualified Licensee / Qualifying Individual status
