We are seeking a dependable Route Service Technician to support waste and recycling operations at residential communities throughout Contra Costa and Solano Counties.
This is an independent, hands on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active and starting their day early. Routes are serviced Monday through Thursday, approximately 8 hours per day.
Service Areas
• Benicia
• Vallejo
• Martinez
• Pleasant Hill
What You'll Do
• Inspect and service waste and recycling collection areas
• Remove loose debris and maintain clean enclosure conditions
• Relocate containers as needed for accessibility
• Assist with removal of abandoned or oversized items
• Complete assigned route stops safely and efficiently
• Report service issues or property concerns when observed
What We Offer
• Starting pay between $22 and $25 per hour
• Consistent Monday through Thursday schedule
• Independent work environment with minimal supervision
• Opportunity for additional hours as business needs expand
Qualifications
• Valid California Driver License
• Acceptable driving history
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
