Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 and SAP.
Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Analyze inventory data using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and Nielsen reports to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to coordinate purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and manage supplier relationships.
Support demand planning and production scheduling by analyzing sales data, forecasting needs, and optimizing stocking strategies.
Oversee shipping & receiving operations, including materials handling, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination with 3PL providers.
Assist with materials management tasks such as procurement, category management, and logistics inventory management to streamline supply chain processes.
Utilize technical proficiency in SQL, ERP systems like MRPII (Manufacturing Resource Planning), and data visualization tools such as Tableau for comprehensive data collection and analysis.
Operate forklifts safely for heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions that enhance warehouse efficiency.
Experience
Proven experience in warehouse distribution or inventory management within a supply chain environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as AS400 or SAP), and data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Demonstrated ability in supply chain analytics, demand planning, procurement processes, and logistics coordination.
Familiarity with materials handling equipment including forklifts; certification preferred.
Excellent data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis, SQL queries, and financial modeling related to inventory control.
Experience working with e-commerce fulfillment centers or retail supply chains is a plus.
Ability to perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot discrepancies or process inefficiencies effectively.
