Acquired this piece while wandering among the 'Seven Sisters' (the seven mini-states in the far northeastern corner of India) a few years back. Up there with Assam and Nagaland. Arunachal Pradesh is the least explored state in India. Anyway, it's an example of jewelry from the Adi Palaibo tribe, one of the most populous groups of indigenous peoples in AP.
