This unique piece of art was created by a paper artist in New York City. He transformed this vintage matchbook into a celebration of NYC by folding the individual matches into the skyline silhouettes of Manhattan skyscrapers, including the Twin Towers.
The black wood frame shadowbox features a glass front and an off-white linen backdrop for the matchbook, which is mounted about 3/4” away from the backdrop to create a dramatic presentation. The shadowbox can be hung on the wall or placed on a bookshelf, mantle or table.
This would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves New York City!
