This 100% alpaca wool throw blanket was handmade in Bolivia. It can be hand washed or dry cleaned, and comes from a home that is smoke-free and pet-free. It has a slight amount of stretch due to the nature of the knitting. All edges are scalloped (see photos) and there are tassles on both of the shorter ends. A charming knitted flower graces one corner (see photo). The wool is extremely soft and non-itchy, and feels wonderful to the touch.
Length: 74 inches
Width: 60 inches
The throw was purchased at the gift shop of the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco for $380.
Requested donation: $160 (cash only please, no electronic forms of payment)
