I used Mighty Kool with the two hose attachments (shown) when I owned a car without air conditioning.
I put it in the back seat and guided the hoses towards myself and passengers in the front seats.
I found it to be super comfy! It's not as cool as air conditioning but kept the front seat cool.
Mighty Kool can also be used, with or without hoses, in the home.

The videos are overviews of how he uses the Mighty Kool hoses to cool his van. He overnights successfully with it.
Not suitable for high humidity areas, as it uses water to help cool.
I once called the office for help and the man who answered was super knowledgeable.
It's approx $250 new and online reviews are strong. Filters included.
