I'm looking for a sweet home.
I am a long-term Berkeley resident, academic researcher, artist, and educator seeking a quiet, safe, and well-maintained 1-bedroom, 1-bath home for a long-term tenancy.
Move-in Date:
- Available to move August 1, 2026, or September 1, 2026
- I have lived in my current Berkeley home for 7 years
- My current lease ends on August 1, 2026
- I am beginning my housing search now so I can provide proper notice to my current landlord
What I Am Looking For:
- Ground-floor unit, cottage, ADU, in-law unit, duplex, or small house
- Approximately 600–850 sq ft
- Private entrance
- Laundry on-site or in-unit
- Off-street parking would be greatly appreciated
- No wall-to-wall carpeting due to allergies (hardwood or tile flooring preferred)
- Small garden, patio, garden area, or outdoor space would be wonderful
- Quiet residential neighborhood
- Berkeley preferred; nearby communities considered

- Section 8 voucher approved for 1BR/1BA up to $2,450/month
