compensation:Weekday $70.00 for a 12-hour shift plus $20.54 (and up) per hour depending on experience, for an outcall. Weekend $300 for a 60-hour shift plus $18.54 (and up) per hour depending on experience for an outcall No Benefits.
The Back-up Crisis Line Counselor will provide coverage to the Contra Costa and Marin Crisis Lines to ensure the provision of intervention services for sexual assault victims in Contra Costa and Marin County. These services include crisis intervention on the phone and in-person accompaniment at police interviews and medical exams.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
Must be willing to be available for the entire weekend or weekday shift coverage.
Provide coverage when the counselor on call cannot be located.
Take calls from clients, accompaniment as necessary (outcalls), documentation of services provided, attendance at monthly in-services, and completion of all appropriate paperwork.
Must respond within a 5-minute time frame to answering service and a 40-minute time frame to evidence collection sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
Current or previous RCC-trained, certified Sexual Assault Counselor.
Must have reliable transportation and be available to respond to Contra Costa/Marin County hospitals within 60 minutes.
Able to obtain clearance with the California Department of Justice.
