We provide residential care home services across all counties of the East Bay and we currently have a need for caregivers in Pleasant Hill, Concord, and Martinez.
We offer a comprehensive care program to each of our patients. To our staff, we offer flexible schedules, a friendly and professional environment and a true team approach to healthcare. Applicants with previous care giving experience are preferred.
Bilingual preferred but not required.
Qualification: First Aide certified , TB Have to be done, Clean Background check and Finger print have to be done as well.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist patient with medication
- Monitor Medication
Monitor patients medication according to their medical care plan, which should specify your duties and what times of day you should provide medical assistance to them.
-Assist with Basic Needs
Assist patients with their basic needs, which could include: bathing, grooming and toileting.
- Prepare Meals
Assist patients with meal preparation.
- Housekeeping
Providing assistance to patients by doing dishes, vacuuming or taking out the garbage.
- Transfer
Patients may have difficulty transferring - from bed in the morning to chair in the afternoon, for instance. Be prepared to help them move and make them comfortable.
- Companionship
In the midst of all these duties, it's easy to forget one of the most important parts of caregiving - companionship. Focus on how rewarding it is to care for your patients and know how thankful they are to have you too.
