We’re seeking a sharp, highly operationally organized In-Home Caregiver and Executive Assistant to support a quadriplegic client in a vibrant home environment in the East Bay area (SF, California).
This unique role combines personal caregiving with executive-level organization and coordination responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide some personal in-home care for a quadriplegic client (must be able to lift up to 95 lbs)
- Coordinate and manage medical care, including doctor visits, therapy appointments, and follow-ups
- Schedule and oversee homecare workers and shift coverage
- Manage benefits, insurance coverage, and health-related records
- Track and manage home and medical budgets
- Stock and organize medical supplies and maintain inventory levels
-Assist with some household organization, scheduling, and communication
- Occasionally accompany client to appointments or short trips (local travel)
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and multitasking skills
- Experience in IHSS caregiving or nursing
- Must be bilingual Spanish/English
- Reliable, detail-oriented communicator
- Comfortable with lifting and personal care / hygiene tasks
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with administrative paperwork, medical coordination or insurance a plus
Compensation & Environment:
- $22-$30 / hour Depending on Experience (prefer providers registered with IHSS but not required)
