Physical Therapist –  Berkeley, CA

FOX Rehabilition is growing in Berkeley, CA, and we’re looking for passione, licensed Physical Therapists who want to deliver exceptional one-on-one care to older adults right where they live. Whether treing in prive residences or within Senior Living Communities, you’ll help pients improve mobility, independence, and quality of life through our signure Geriric House Calls™ model. This position is loced in one of our senior living community partners.    

This opportunity is ideal for Physical Therapists who value autonomy, flexibility, and truly meaningful pient outcomes, while enjoying the freedom to cree and manage your own trement schedule and build strong, lasting pient relionships. 

FOX clinicians may also incorpore telehealth and other forms of virtual care into their schedules, allowing for greer flexibility, improved continuity of care, and the ability to support more pients.

Responsibilities 

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy to older adults wherever they call home (Prive residences, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care) 

• Perform evaluions, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based trement 

• Deliver therapy sessions th support pient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence 

• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulory standards 

• Collabore with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists 

• Educe pients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place 

• Provide telehealth / virtual care when approprie to extend access and flexibility

Employment Types Available 

FOX offers multiple phways to mch your lifestyle and career goals: 

• Full-time Physical Therapist – In-Home & Senior Living Care (salaried with benefits) 

• Part-time Physical Therapist – In-Home & Senior Living Care (salaried with benefits eligibility based on minimum hours requirement) 

• PRN / FOX Flex Physical Therapist – Home & Community Visits (pay per unit compension) 

• H1B Sponsorship available for qualified clinicians  

• New Gradues eligible for FOX’s nionally recognized Emerging Professionals Mentor Program

Qualificions  

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the ste(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain 

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program 

• Basic computer and EMR proficiency 

• Current CPR certificion

​Physical Requirements 

FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including: 

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly 

• Performing CPR 

• Providing modere to maximum assistance with pient transfers and bed mobility 

• Repositioning pients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities 

• Driving to pient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriric House Calls™ model 

• Wearing PPE when required
