Selling because it’s vibrating more intensely than other vibe plates I’ve used.
I called Ridge and Company and they said it was calibrated to the standard 30 Hz but it feels stronger than that.
I asked how to remedy and they said to add a counter weight to the bottom and sent two weights.
I started that process - put one additional weight on, not threading it all the way in, and didn’t notice much improvement but didn’t explore further.
My recommendation is to call the company back again and ask for tech support to find out whether the counter weights need to be closer to the original weight (they are threaded, but there is some silicone on the threading that makes it a bit challenging). The company can probably give more detailed instructions.
