4 Trichocereus cactus plants. These are fully rooted hybrid plants grown from seed. They have been outdoors year round and are ready to plant in the garden or move to larger pots. When they have more root space they can grow 15 feet or more tall. The flowers are white, fragrant and large. The fruits are edible. Trichocereus originate in the Andes mountains where they have been used for medicine and rituals for thousands of years. As mountain cacti they like to have a drink of water in hot weather. They thrive in the climate of the SF Bay Area and are generally easy to care for.
