Apache is an erect, thornless blackberry variety developed by the University of Arkansas that is known for producing some of the largest and highest-yielding fruits among thornless types. It is an easy-to-grow, low-maintenance plant with excellent disease resistance and good drought tolerance. Apache berries ripen in mid-to-late June in zones 5-9, are sweet, flavorful, and ideal for fresh eating, jams, or baking.
