As promised, the Alameda Museum Jackson Street Estate Sale Part 2 is headed your way! More dishes and housewares have been unpacked and added to the sale along with loads of hand tools, some power tools, auto repair “stuff” like ramps and tire irons and lots of miscellaneous hardware. We have identified a touring car external metal trunk with a wooden bottom and added a Fire Chief toy car. There’s a Hornung Bros piano that was made in San Francisco, a very unusual portable gas Dangler stove, a 1992 Ford Escort with only 48K miles on it, various sized steamer trunks and foot lockers, a mid century TV in a cabinet (Mad Men, anyone?), a papa bear sized oak Morris chair, 1920’s style bridge lamps and floor lamps, an oak library desk, a Battle Creek Health Builder vibrating belt machine, a kitchen cupboard that’s original to the house, plus dressers, chairs and much more. Sale is Saturday, February 15th from 9:00am until 3:00pm at 2849 Jackson Street, Alameda 94501. CASH or CHECK only. Please bring your own bags and muscle power to move heavy items. A portion of proceeds benefit the Alameda Museum.
