Vintage small 1960s solid walnut 4-drawer low chest of drawers, dresser, or wide bedside table / nightstand. Uncommon piece made of mostly solid walnut construction (the underside and backside is made of plywood). Medium-dark reddish brown stain (likely original) with a satin finish. Solid walnut planks, shallow dovetailed drawers, polished metal pulls, and added plastic feet glides. Cleans lines and a very simple traditional design that integrates well with most vintage and contemporary modernist and rustic design themes. Manufactured by Ace-Hi Furniture of California. This is part of the Prelude series of furniture. Not marked.

Measures 38"w x 17-3/4"d x 16-7/8"h.

Condition is GOOD. Used vintage condition showing moderate wear from age, previous use, and storage. Structurally sound. No bowing or obvious detracting structural damage. The drawers open and close smoothly (plastic drawer glides on wood cabinet slides) with no rubbing and are properly aligned. All screw-on peg legs are securely attached. The previous owner cut a perfect 2" circle in the back of one of the top drawers (???). Cosmetically, there are numerous surface scratches, some deeper wood indentations, and faint ring wear on the top surface. The rest of the piece contains only light surface scratches, moderate dings along the edges, and some areas of finish loss and discoloration. Shows well. Photos reveal more condition details.
