Vintage 1960s highboy dresser or chest of drawers. Made of walnut veneer over particle board. Original finish. Features a raised top edge, five dovetailed drawers (the top two contain in-drawer dividers) with integrated grooved in wood handles that run along the underside of the drawers, black laminate between the drawers, a flush base, and added plastic feet glides. Manufactured by Dillingham for the Esprit line of furniture designed by Merton Gershun. Marked.

Measures 38"w x 19"d x 46"h

The overall condition is VERY GOOD. Used vintage condition showing less than normal wear from age, previous use, and storage. No repairs or modifications. Structurally sound. All drawers open and close smoothly with no major alignment issues or rubbing present. A few of the plastic side saddles (https://www.swisco.com/discussions/Dillingham-Dresser-Side-Guides-77-374122) are missing/broken and that specific drawer has more play than the others. Cosmetically, the top surface has about 4-5 small areas of faint ringwear (hard to detect in the photos; visible with a side light), light and limited surface scratches, minor wood indentations, tiny veneer chips along the bottom edge that have been colored in and disguised, and some rounded corners near the bottom. No major detracting blemishes. This dresser likely lived most of it's life in a cave. There is no discoloration to the finish and no blotchiness present. Photos reveal more condition details. Clean.
