Large and beautiful extending dining table by Alvar Aalto, possibly 1930s or 1940s. Similar to the table 92, but larger in scale with sharper angles on the table top.
Birch legs and mahogany veneered top. The table was refinished at some point in its history; the finish has yellowed to mask the redder hues of the mahogany.
The top has some imperfections, but it has served me well the last five years despite them. We are moving to a smaller home and sadly our cherished table can’t make the move with us.
