it features the iconic, armless charles & ray eames shell and was made with herman miller's revived fiberglass process, so it has the signature surface striations that collectors look for. the shell is a vivid, saturated green, and it sits on the classic dowel base (natural maple legs with a white wire strut frame). the frame is solid and is a lovely detail: the contrast makes the green pop.
it came from an estate as a single chair. excellent condition. the shell is clean and bright with no cracks or chips. only minor wear consistent with its age, and it's clearly been well cared for. solid, sturdy, and ready to use.
