Selling a very nice mid-century modern Danish style armchair. Manufactured in Chicago and dated vintage to the 1960s, this chair is made by the Johnson Chair Company and features a masterfully crafted frame of fine walnut. It features a design indicative of the classic mid-century modern styling, with striking arms trailing to slightly tapering, squared legs for plenty of visual intrigue and mid-century modern appeal. The armrests slope gently upward creating a very alluring profile. It works as a desk or table chair or even on its own. It measures approximately 24 inches wide x 21 1/2 inches deep x 30 1/2 tall. The seat is 17 1/2 inches off the ground. The upholstery is in good shape but needs to be re-padded as the foam on the seat is older and flat.
