This is a super modern, one-of-a-kind, custom-made office, conference or dining table, though I used it as my spacious, high-end desk until I moved three years ago. My new place didn’t have a space big enough for this artist design, which was specially built for an office in San Francisco by Lucid Machine Art in the Bayview. Yes, it’s proudly made in the US, not Italy or Denmark. It’s been in storage for a bit now. You will not find another one like this. The design features a modern, futuristic clean aesthetic where the table legs blend seamlessly into the top. The appearance is that it is made from a single huge block of wood. The top of the table features internal (not visible) aluminum channel bars that create rigidity - there is no flex or bending. The center of the top has a small recess area where you can see the wood layers: laminated Russian birch ply with carved walnut in the center, all finished with a satin poly.
It cost over 7K to have this table made. It was first lightly used in an office break room, then as a desk in my place. This piece is very heavy, well built and stunningly beautiful. It does have some light scratches, nicks and water marks, but nothing distracts from its beauty and function. If you appreciate rare, beautiful works of art, this is for you. Please study the pictures and let me know if you've any questions. Thank you.
