A very stabile, well made, dining table, with wide rounded edging, organically tapered uprights and bilevel cross-braces. Hardened metal, gold chromed connecting bolts, the majority of which are hidden, with only the cross-brace ends, countersunk, and barely noticeable.
The whole design evokes an alter. But that may be a result of years spent under the Roman Catholic architecture and traditions.

Condition: 9/10; Used/Restored; table had at least two prior owners, but came to me in stable, useable condition, but for a worn, peeling clear coat, limited to just the topside. It also had two blemishes, original in the wood, but not intended in the design. Restoration required sanding off the old flaking clear coat, apply four coats of Varathane Crystal-Cear Polyurethane in gloss. While two replacement plugs were chiseled from the underside,(table’s butcher block top is over 1 inch thick), and filled, to better match the original grain pattern. The table has been fully restored to near new showroom condition. I did subtract 1 point for subtle grain shift over the length of one repair, but it is in no way obvious, will not affect the use of and vastly improves the final appearance.
