This EA bedframe is so beautiful, i may have to rethink their position as a high quality, American (still true today, but less than 50% is Made in USA), traditional (boring), conservator (staid), of timeless styles (gutless), fine furnishings producer.
Majority is constructed from solid Cherry and veneer over Ash,(only at the side rails), This frame is a shining example of go design and quality workmanship.

Condition: 9/10; Used/Refinished; obtained by way of an auction. Although in good condition for its age and use, several joints required re-gluing and clamping. Due to some sun light fading, to two end sections, all pieces have been stripped, hand sanded, pre-conditioned and stained with Congac Red woodstain, followed by a pigmented wash of Garnet Red.
The results are heavenly. This revealed much more of the wood’s grain, and adds to the drawing of eyes upward.
Its nearly a 10/10, but for a few minor scrapes(-1) that could not be fully removed by steaming.
