This redwood bench was made from old 2x6 redwood lumber that were salvaged from a deck that was being replaced. It was on its way to the dumps but we cut out what still had life in it and glued it back together, jointed & planed it to give it some more use. There are some nail holes but they are patched & simple butt joints to make use of short pieces. Large knots were cut out but there are still a few. It was finished with 3 coats of Satin Spar Urethane.
It is 16" tall. The top is 48" long and 16" wide. A 24" long level is shown in the photos for scale.
The price is negotiable if you happen to have old redwood boards on its way to the dumps or just sitting in your garage that you can barter. This is more about a passion for woodworking & respecting natural resources than turning a profit.
