If this listing is posted, available for sale is a brand-new set of 10 “bread & butter” dishes of Stangl Pottery of Trenton, N.J., in the “Magnolia” pattern showcasing the beauty of hand painted rust/white blossoms and deep green leaves on a lite yellow/green background. These dishes are 6-1/4” diameter. They are at least 40 years old and because there are neither chips, cracks, craze cracking nor blemishes makes the condition of these dishes very unusual. BTW, Stangl Pottery was founded in 1929, in Flemington, New Jersey, by Martin Stangl. In 1978, Pfaltzgraff bought the Stangl trademark and liquidated the remaining inventory. By November 1978, Stangl Pottery ceased manufacturing and closed forever, signaling the end of a truly unique American folk-art product.
If you are responding with questions, or wish to see the dishes, please leave your phone number and a time to call you. Must see to appreciate! Asking $65 or best offer for the 10-piece set.
