It is fully submersible and provides physical, chemical, and biological filtration for fish tanks from 1.5 to 10 gallons in size. The activated carbon cartridge removes harmful chemicals, toxins, odors, and other contaminates from water. It includes an internal sponge that optimizes colonization of beneficial anaerobic bacteria. It runs on a 110-volt electrical current, pumps up to 70 gallons per hour—has adjustable, directional water flow output—and a spray bar option that will distribute water evenly to aid aeration. The round, directional flow spout has a connector for attaching flexible tubing to drive water fountains, or other accessories. It also includes mount and suction cups that can be used to place the filter horizontally. This is also great for use with aquatic turtles and aquatic amphibians.
