Bought in Hong Kong around 1980's-90's. Looks brand new and perfect for a beginner, a young student or anyone who is interested in the Chinese/Japanese way of writing and painting art.
In a large vintage box, the art set appears well made. It includes:
- 4 brushes for writing or painting, each 9" or longer.
- a porcelain brush stand,
- a porcelain water dish,
- a lidded porcelain dish with red seal paste,
- a 4"x6" carved ink well,
- a 5" decorated rectangle ink stick,
- 2 soapstone seals which can be engraved (with your name, for example)
