ℹ️ Bladder Snails are a tropical freshwater pond snail common in North America and Europe. In the aquarium community, they are often seen as pests or invasive. However, these beautiful tiny scavengers are helpful for keeping your ecosystem thriving, offering insight into safe water conditions, having minimal to no harm to other aquatic life, and often serving as food for some specific fish and aquatic life. They grow to about an inch and a half at full growth.
Physella acuta prefer:
Temperature: 64° - 84° F (17° - 29° C)
pH: 7.0 - 8.0
Water hardness: 12 to 18 dGH
💥IMPORTANT: If you are over feeding, the population will flourish. These snails proliferate easily with an abundance of food. If your water parameters are dangerous, they can be seen grouping outside of the water near the top of your tank.
