If you make your own moccasins or Viking era leather shoes, this is the stuff for giving them durable, not-slip soles to wear to re-enactment events, the Renaissance Faire and out in the woods.
4 ounces is enough to do one pair of shoes (size 7-8) to about 1/4" thickness (best applied in 2-3 layers).
Mix with Barge Cement or similar adhesive and spread on.
This is 20 mesh, which is about the same size as the table sugar granules shown in the (magnified) photo.
