The hand crafted monk is painted red and covered in gold leaf
Hand crafted and painted by the rural villagers in northern Thailand. They used the ancient Lanna techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation, since the early days of the Kingdom of Lanna to create this item. Every piece is therefore truly unique.
Some slight wear to back due to age.
Age unknown, purchased in Thailand over 50 years ago.
