Javanese Batik fabric, from 1970's, Traditional and Modern Designs - $40 (berkeley)

These were purchased by me in the early-mid 1970's while I was living in Central Java.
There is a wide variety of shapes and sizes although the commonest are Kain Panjang, long sarong cloths, which are usually 41" x 8'9". These are $33-90. There are a few short bolts of yardage at $30-45/yd.
Some are natural dyes. The designs are traditional Central and North Coast (Peklongan and Cirebonam) Javanese and Modern designs from Central Java (Solo-Surakarta).

Most are medium weight very fine cotton. There is one rayon and one silk piece and long spectacular piece of voile.
There are pillow cases and a piece designed for making a shirt. These cost less.
