Dye-sub printers are pretty much maintenance free for thousands of print working only with 2 supplies - roll paper and the film. Much more consistent quality than inkjet and without the headache of inkjet print-head issues.
Print quality is similar to what you get at CVS or Walgreens. Can print 4X6", 5X7", 6X8", and 2 strips of 2X6"
I am using a similar printer at work so you can come see the quality of the prints.
