We are looking for an experienced part-time server to join our front-of-house team at Millennium. The shifts we are looking to fill right away are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday (dinner service, which runs 5pm-9pm). Server shifts begin at 3:30pm and run until last tables are gone and side work is finished -- which can change from night to night, depending on the flow of service.
Serving at Millennium is for people who love hospitality, communication, and thoughtful, detail-oriented service. Our servers are able to stay calm, gracious, and efficient in a fast-paced, upscale environment. We have been open for over 30 years and strive to be as excellent in the FOH as our Chef and his team are and have been for decades in the kitchen.
Servers at Millennium:
• Guide guests through a multi-course, plant-based menu with confidence and care
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the kitchen, bar, and host teams
• Have a strong understanding of allergies and dietary needs and take them seriously
• Pace courses thoughtfully and track guest progress throughout the meal
• Support one another as a team to create a smooth, welcoming dining experience
• Maintain professionalism, kindness, and composure during busy services
If you’re reading this and thinking, yes, this sounds like my skill set, you might be a great fit. We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years of serving experience, ideally in both upscale and high-volume restaurants. Wine knowledge is a plus, and having had experience in many positions is also a plus. Mostly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we are doing, being a part of the team and taking care of our guests.
