Helmed by Chef Mark Liberman, Mago is a hospitality first environment, creating a safe and fun work environment for all, while never sacrificing on the quality of the product served. We are a fine dining restaurant offering a contemporary expression of Colombian cuisine, utilizing the delicious ingredients of Northern California through a daily changing tasting menu, Tuesday to Saturday.
The ideal candidates are eager to learn and grow with our team. Our team is very small and we are looking for someone that can really embrace being a part of our team. Must be a charismatic person who is comfortable speaking with guests, running food to tables and working in an open floor-plan. The right candidate should be self motivated, a go-getter and able to step in wherever is needed as we are a small team that relies on quick action and more importantly, have a positive attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-The ideal candidates will be passionate about hospitality, highly motivated, and have a keen eye for detail.
-While we prefer 2+ years in fine dining, a good attitude, and a strong work ethic will be just as important.
-A fine dining server ensures a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests by serving as the primary point of contact, managing service, and collaborating with the kitchen and service team.
-Responsible for greeting guests, acknowledging dietary needs, wine knowledge, and possess an in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings.
COMPENSATION: Competitive pay, 401K and health insurance for full time employees after 90 days. All staff will be receiving tips on top of hourly wages, the house is pooled. Four day work week.
