SAFFRON KITCHEN RESTAURANT in Rockridge/Oakland is looking for am experienced, reliable, and food-focused individual to join our kitchen team. We’re a Mediterranean inspired Afghan cuisine restaurant committed to great food, great service, in a welcoming atmosphere.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Major Prepping of meats/poultry/seafood, sauces/stocks.
Follow recipes, portioning, and food safety standards.
Handle the line during lunch hours (12pm to 2:30pm)
Stock the line for dinner shift.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN EXPERIENCED COOK:
3 to 5 years of solid kitchen experience as a cook/head cook/kitchen supervisor/sous chef or similar positions.
Dependable and on time (this is a key weekly shift)
Able to move fast and stay organized under pressure
Good attitude + team player
Food handler certification (or ability to obtain)

SCHEDULE:
FULL TIME, DAY SHIFT. FIVE TO SIX DAYS PER WEEK.
