We are seeking someone who is:
-California ServSafe food handler certified
-Able to work 4-5 shifts per week (must be available weekends, mornings, and afternoons)
-1-2 years professional cooking experience is preferred.
-A team player that is able to collaborate and communicate directly with co-workers and managers
-Organized, efficient, and has proven basic skills and knowledge of kitchen tasks (appliance usage, proper dishwashing, cleanliness, FIFO, inventory, and quality control)
-Able to follow workplace safety protocols and Ain’t Normal Cafe recipes
-Enthusiastic about opportunities to experiment new menu items and grow their cooking knowledge with us
-Excited about opportunities to learn, train, and foster a fun but professional atmosphere
-Enthusiastic about opportunities to create new menu items and expand their cooking knowledge
-To successfully perform essential job duties, required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
-The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills and the ability to follow oral/written instructions and procedures
Compensation
-$20.00 - $24.00 plus tips $10 per hour
