About Petit Pot:
At Petit Pot, we believe that Americans deserve to find amazing desserts in their specialty stores and groceries, and we are looking to transform this world with the help of renowned French pastry traditions! Our small company makes delicious, single-serve desserts called pots de crème. They are traditional gourmet French puddings, potted to perfection. And this is not some gelatinous powder-in-a-box pudding. This is a delightful blend of age-old French pastry practice with modern California culinary flourishes! Our pots de crème are distributed throughout California, and now on the East Coast. They are sold refrigerated in stores like Whole Foods, Safeway and local chains as well as in independent stores

Your day-to-day tasks may include:
- Read and interpret formulas, follow procedures and document work on batch sheets.
- Measure and feed batches of raw materials into kettles.
- Follow recipes
- Use kettles and filling machine
- Homogenize and pasteurize product to obtain prescribed temperature, using a blender and a thermometer.
- Record production data for each batch, such as ingredients used and cooking/filling temperature.
- Ensure proper communication with employees in the kitchen: the cook is in charge of managing the whole production process.
- Clean and maintain work areas, machinery, and tools.
- Store goods and raw materials in the warehouse (lifting 50lbs)
- Use lifting equipment.
- Any other tasks such as: assembling goods on a production line, packing products, for example, sealing jars with lids, packing goods ready for shipment.
You'll need to follow established GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Food Safety, and Quality guidelines.

- Prior experience in food production is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision or assistance.
- Position requires lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
- Be reliable and dependable.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Be aware of management responsibilities
