Cielito a very successful regional Mexican restaurant in Danville is seeking a General Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate is devoted to creating a warm and hospitable restaurant.
Applicant must have previous management experience and a strong organizational style with a keen eye for detail. Position includes the ability to handle the back office administrative duties including, scheduling labor costs, POS systems, beverage ordering and the ability to understand P&L's.
Please have solid references and a history of achievement in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Must have a flexible schedule.
Requirements:
· 5+ years of restaurant management experience; 2+ years as General Manager
· Must love being on the restaurant floor and having a positive impact on the guest experience
· Strong knowledge of Word Excel, Outlook, Open Table and TOAST POS
· Experience with restaurant inventory and ordering
· Staff hiring and scheduling
· Full time availability, including nights, weekends and holidays
· High level of food and beverage knowledge
· Strong wine knowledge
· Ability to multi-task with efficiency and poise
